Getting to be that time...
Working as a public relations intern has been incredibly beneficial. In fact, I swear that I have learned more at this internship than I have in class thus far. Is that common? However, This internship was my first. Unfortunately, I cannot intern next semester. I am a little nervous about finding a job with only one internship under my belt. I am aware that some of my peers have done at least two or three....

I would not worry about only having one internship under your belt especially since you have learned so much from that one. I feel that jobs will take into great consideration that you had that one experience and that you learned so much from it. At least you have one internship to put on your resume instead of none at all.
I wish I had one internship under my belt. It's getting harder and harder to find them. There was an article in the most recent edition of the Marquette Journal that discussed how difficult the job market is becoming. However, in order to cut back on payroll and still have help, many employers are hiring more interns because they can pay them less money, but still get someone with some experience or knowledge to complete the task they need. I'm unsure if this is a good thing or not, only because that means I may be more likely to find an internship, however, when I enter the job market, will I be an intern the rest of my life?
