Feeling Pressured to Vote?

Anyone feeling a little pressured to vote, but don't want to?  Politics seem to divide people in the worst ways, whereas something like athletic events seem to divide people in a better ways.

Politics seems to bring out the worst in people and I don't like the nature of it all.   I always encourage people to vote, however I choose not to.  Politics and voting just seems like a waste of time, sure my vote counts, but so could a dead guy's in some cemetery.

Sometimes I feel like if enough money is wired to a computer hacker the results could easily be skewed, thus silencing my voice as a voter.   The candidates are ok, but the system I feel is flawed and voting seems like a waste of time.  Please feel free to comment, thanks.

I think that especially in this election there is a pressure to vote considering the condition our country is in. Young voters are feeling the pressure even more because it is said that "we need a change." Even though it is only one vote, I feel that it is still important to voice one's opinion. If everyone had the outlook that it didn't count, we would have a low voter turnout overall. When the time comes that people are not satisfied with the presidential choice, then the blame game begins. I think everyone should vote since we have the freedom to be involved in our government.

I think it's easy to become apathetic about politics. After all, look at how flawed our political system has becomed and all the corruption that exists. However, that is precisely the reason why you should vote. Even though one vote may not seem to make a difference, it is the principle of making your voice heard that matters. I see the right to vote as a blessing that many others do not have and extremely grateful to have it.
