We all look for outlets in our life that allow us to escape reality for maybe only seconds. Writing has presented this opportunity for me every since I learned how to put my thoughts down on a piece of paper. I got better by practicing everyday, but the day I truely became a decent writer was when I began reading the works of others. This took my creativity to a different level and inspired me to share my experiences with others. Today, we spend so much time talking with our mouths, we sometimes forget the other ways to communicate. We fail to realize that there are more effective ways to communicate with each other. In other words we take the easy way out. Writing is a challenge, that's why I love to do it. Try it. Try putting your feelings down on a piece a paper and see how far you can get. Do not look for me, because Im too far gone!

You make a good point. It's important to realize that writing is a challenge, but also a learning tool. Without the written word, our society would be a completely different place. It's good to consider the writing is being pushed to the back burner and needs to come back into play again.
Also, I think it's cool that you get inspired by other people's writing.
