I enjoy writing becuase it is an easy way to express myself and describe or evaluate any topic I choose. Writing gives me the chance to express myself on paper, which is very different from converstaion. In a conversation, you can easily backtrack or clarify. In writing, you need to be clear and organized from the outset in order to get your point across. That is an interesting challenge that takes more time than formulating a conversation or speech.
It is interesting in the sense that someone can obtain a copy of what you write, edit it, and return it to you. That process can be helpful, but also a frustratingway to begin improving writing skills & style.
I also enjoy writing because it is something that will be a large part of my job in PR once I graduate. I would like to continue to improve my writing so that it is at the highest caliber possible when I enter the working world.
This class blog provides a forum for PR students to practice their blog writing and learn more about social media in PR practice.
