If you really think about it, whether someone is going into the Public Relations industry or not, everyone is constantly using the fundamentals of PR in their lives on a daily basis. We communicate and interact with the elements of our surroundings everyday. We strive to protect our own image and take on immediate damage control if a crisis should occur throughout our day. We network everyday. We build connections off of people we know. We convey messages and give/receive pieces of information everyday. We create verbal news releases all the time. And this is all often done subconsciously. We may not think about it, but we utilize PR every single day. Without PR, we would lack the foundation of what keeps us going. Life would lack interest and creativity. So PR should not be seen as a negative, but rather as a positive concept. And it never stops. :)
