Dear Friend/Family,

I feel as though you do not completely understand what public relations practitioners do.  Public relations practitioners are vital in keeping the public informed on what companies are doing.  This relationship also creates a checks and balances relationship, much like in the three branches of our great government. Because companies know public relations practitioners are going to be informing the public about their companies, they are striving to really make a difference and run there companies in the best possible fashion.  Without public relations practitioners, companies would be able to do whatever they pleased without the public ever finding out about it and things you use or rely on in your everyday life may not be anything like what you expect them to be.  Companies would be able to cut costs and the expense of the reliability and durability of their products/services.
